Nepal falls under the Hindu-kush Himalayan range, where most of the highest peaks of the world fall. Eight among the fourteen peaks which are above eight-thousand meters are located in the country.
The highest peak in the synonym of adventure challenge and excitement for adventurous from all over the world per haves the legend and name of Everest is more popular then the country”s name we often hear people introducing Nepal as the country of Everest. The local name for Everest is Sagarmatha in Nepali language and in Sherpa, Chomolungma. Sir Edmund Hillary and Late Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, were two people to successfully step their foot on the top of Everest in 29 May 1953.
